How
they work
The machine
uses CO2
to lure the midge and draw them into a re-usable bag. Undetectable
to humans this clever machine mimics the smell of a large animal,
which fools the midge into believing it is about to get a nice
tasty blood meal. Tests show
that midges can detect CO2
up to 100m away, and you should try several locations to identify
which is the most effective for your situation. Changes in wind
direction could alter the midges behaviour, so move the trap
around throughout the season for best results.

Who said
size matters?
Inspired by the Midgeater's success, we have added the new mighty Midg-itT to the range.
It is smaller, lighter and more portable than its Midgeater
counterpart but every bit as powerful.
It's handier for when the wind changes and you quickly want to
move it or out of season storage.
